If you are away from home and become unwell, we can see you as a Temporary Patient. This service is not available if you are registered with a practice within a 20 mile radius. You can be seen for a problem that has developed or needs immediate attention. It is preferable for you to attend your own Surgery whenever possible, remember your Primary Care Team know you well and can offer appropriate follow up.
Please be aware we will be able to supply emergency medication for a short period only to treat the problem or if you have run out of your medication. On your return home we recommend that you contact your own GP Practice.
To register you will need to bring proof of identification and complete our Temporary Resident Registration form (GMS3) (also available from reception).
