Test Results
Urine, Sputum and Blood test results may take up to a week to arrive at the practice, please allow 10 working days before asking for the results. X-rays and scan results can take at least 2 weeks, therefore please allow 3 weeks before asking for your result to allow the practice time to process them.
Please telephone the surgery to ask about test results.
If a result requires urgent attention, we will contact you.
Urine Samples and Laboratory Testing
Specimens should be handed in as early in the day as possible. Please ensure your name and date of birth are on the container.
You can collect sterile containers from reception or your local pharmacy.
If you are handing in a sample of urine for testing and have not already spoken to a member of the practice team, please fill out a sample questionnaire or ask for one at the door. We will be unable to process your sample if this is not done.
