Faecal Calprotectin (FIT) Test Delays

We have been informed by Swansea Bay University Health Board that there are some delays in the turnaround times for faecal calprotectin (FIT) tests. The Biochemistry Department is working hard to address both existing samples and to improve the turnaround times for the future.

Please be assured that if the sample is clinically urgent, the department will endeavour to prioritise the sample.
