The practice operates a full triage system. Each request for an appointment is prioritised based on clinical urgency. A member of our practice team will contact you either to offer an appointment or to give further advice following input by the clinicians. Non Urgent Queries
If your query is not of an urgent nature, please advise when you contact us and we will then offer you a pre-bookable appointment up to 4 weeks in advance.
Pre-bookable appointments are available each morning, if this is unsuitable, please advise the receptionist at the time you speak to us, we will endeavour to meet your request.
Requests are dealt with in order of clinical priority. Therefore we cannot give you a specific time as to when you will receive a return call or message. Please make sure we can contact you at all times.
Common Ailments Scheme
Are you aware of the Common Ailments Scheme? Available from pharmacies which can deal with everyday issues that do not require the input of a clinician.
We are contactable via AskMyGP from 7am till 10:00am, or via telephone from 08:00am to 18:30pm Monday to Friday.
Outside these hours, in the first instance please contact 111. If you suspect that you are suffering from heart attack or stroke, please contact 999 immediately.
Cancelling an Appointment
If you are unable to attend for your appointment we expect at least 24 hours notice, except in extreme cases, so that we are able to offer another patient the use of that appointment.
